The historic building of the Amthaus Bern will be comprehensively renovated this year and next year (2022 and 2023). During this time, premises will be temporarily rented for the provisional solution at Kasernenstrasse in Bern and adapted to the specific requirements of the public prosecutor's office, the Bern-Mittelland regional court, the youth lawyer's office and the compulsory measures court.

In connection with the Amthaus provisional arrangement, the cantonal police of Bern are looking for a company in the security, order and security sector that is able to guide the trained persons into the appropriate cells, guard them, look after them and make them available for the respective handovers. If police accompaniment is not required for the instructed persons, they will be accompanied by the care and security staff to the hearing appointment and then escorted back to the cell tract or to the cell.
