The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to appoint a suitable provider of Routine Chemistry solution. The Royal Marsden is issuing this pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) in connection with the competitive procurement of a Routine Chemistry new solution inclusive of equipment, maintenance, reagents and consumables. The Trust will consider offers which fully meet the requirement utilising three different financing/ delivery models. The Authority will be looking to take its requirement to the market while allowing bidders to submit their response(s) against 3 lots, with a degree of flexibility in relation to financing/ delivery methods. These alternative financing/ delivery models are reflected in the tender lots' structure enabling market to tailor each solution (s) according to following options:
Lot 1: Capital Purchase and Reagents;
Lot 2: Reagent Rental;
Lot 3: Neutral Managed Service Contract.
The final solution will be procured under a 5 year contract with the option to extend for 12 month periods up to a maximum of 24 months (5+1+1). All current equipment must be replaced with a new equipment.
The Trust reserves the right to make a final decision to evaluate and award only 1 lot following bids submission at the ITT stage.
