Ambient pressure x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (APXPS) setup suitable for studying hydrogen-materials interactions at high temperatures.

In this procurement we seek to purchase a complete, turnkey ambient pressure x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (APXPS) setup that is suitable for studying hydrogen-materials interactions at elevated temperatures (in hydrogen atmospheres) from ultra-high vacuum to tens of millibars of pressure. The various types of samples to be analysed with the system include, e.g., metals, semiconductors, polymers and also powders and liquids. The APXPS setup shall be adaptable with different types of (custom) sample environments as the system will also be used for other in situ / operando materials and process research including (photo)catalysis, battery research, corrosion research etc.
