Comment: definition of cold link
The bidder is reminded that the cold link is a very short preservation process. The various phenomena of alteration (enzyme action, microbial proliferation, oxidation) are only significantly slowed down but not stopped. Food is stored in a specific cold room by product category below +7º C and transported, to a relay kitchen, by insulated truck below +7º C.
School meals (of all types) shall be delivered, preferentially in bulk and in cold connection, to schools, in places determined by the contracting authority.
In case of implementation of a General Emergency and Communal or Other Intervention Plan (PGUIC), any requests for additional meals made must be made at the price proposed by the successful successful tenderer.
