The subject of the contract is the operational management of street lighting in the urban area of Ludwigsfelde, consisting of operation, maintenance, renewal, documentation and control, among other things.

The services include:

- Operation and maintenance (troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, etc.)

- Renewal (replacement of lighting poles and light carriers)

- Inventory documentation and reporting

- control

The subject of the present award procedure is the operational management of street lighting in the urban area of Ludwigsfelde, consisting of, among other things, operation, maintenance, renewal, documentation and control. There are currently 4,553 light points in the city of Ludwigsfelde. The aforementioned light points are the property of the city of Ludwigsfelde; they are fully covered by the street lighting contract.

The operation shall include all measures to ensure the success of lighting, in particular:

- the appointment of an investment manager in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100

- fault management

- work scheduling for all operational and maintenance work

- the documentation of the entire plant inventory as well as the operation and maintenance of the street lighting system

- Information obligations/reporting.

Maintenance includes inspection, maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting and repairing accident and vandalism damage and damage due to force majeure. The renewal includes all measures to replace the existing street lighting system, including planning services for renovation measures.

The object of operational management is also the control of street lighting.

The service does not include new construction measures and electricity supplies.
