Through the PC scheme, primary and secondary school youngsters from minima families are given a laptop or tablet. The Assignment concerns a delivery with additional services.
The client within the Municipality is the Directorate of Income, Poverty Reduction. The Amsterdam Agenda for Poverty and Debt 2019-2022 has six pillars:
1. Perspective on a better future;
2. Opportunities for children and young people;
3. Prevention of poverty and debt;
4. Amsterdam free of problematic debts;
5. Participate without hindrance;
6. Financial scope through income support.
The Assignment lies within the second pillar 'opportunities for children and young people'. The schemes in this pillar - the child credit, the PC scheme, a pupil allowance and a travel allowance for facilities - are aimed at children and young people from minimum families.
