Oslo city does not have sufficient reserve water supplies, it is therefore necessary to build a new facility that shall cover the need for Oslo’s population if Oset water treatment facility (VBA) is not able to produce drinking water of sufficient quality and sufficient quantity.

VAV [the Water and Sewage Authority] shall establish a new UV facility will be carried out with multiple procurements. The establishment of the UV facility will be carried out with multiple procurements. This procurement concerns:

— procurement of UV generators with associated delivery and assembly (power connection and assembly of PLC, assembly of lamps in the UV generators),

— necessary assistance (supply substrates/drawings for the generators) with the engineering design of the UV generator connection to the facility,

— service and maintenance of the UV generators,

— option: cleaning system (mechanical and with acid solution).
