The subject of the order is the implementation of a soil and habitat study for the Dobrzejewice Forest District, as of 1.1.2021.
The soil and habitat development should be carried out in the form of full habitat documentation and in the following scope:
Area of study (ha):
Forest District (precinct) Dobrzejewice
Pow. general 20 909.46
Pow. forest (forests together) 19 952.69
Pow. forested and unwooded 19,465.43
Pow. forest with forest management 487.26
Pow. non-forest 956.77.
The study should cover the entire forest area (forests together) and land intended for afforestation.
The contracting authority reserves the right to increase the development area to 100 ha, which may be the result of verification of land records, real estate trading (exchange, purchase / sale), transfer or termination of the management board during the course of installation works, final determination of land for afforestation, which, however, will remain without influence on the amount of remuneration.
General characteristics
Dobrzejewice Forest District
(1) Total area 20,909 ha
(2) Number of forest complexes (according to previous revision) 242 pcs.
(3) Number of forestry 12
(4) Habitat system - Share of% of habitat groups by fertility (coniferous forests, mixed coniferous forests, forests) and by humidity levels (dry, fresh, moist, wetland), according to the forest management plan as of January 1, 2014.
Habitat system (%) Share by fertility Bora Mixed forests Forests 67.5; 26.2; 6.3
Share by humidity degree Fresh Wet Moist 95.2; 2.2; 2.5
The documents that will be created as a result of the subject of the contract will be the property of the State Treasury - State Forests State Farm.
As part of the soil-habitat study, a forest numerical map layer should be prepared, meeting the standards set out in Regulation No. 55 of the General Director of State Forests of November 21, 2011 (Forest Management Instructions - Part 1, Chapter VII, and IUL Part III).
During the performance of the contract, the Employer shall carry out ongoing inspections of the works performed. Completed field and chamber works will be subject to final inspection and acceptance of works. Inspections and acceptances will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines of Ordinance No. 63 of the General Director of State Forests of 13.8.2002 regarding control and acceptance of arrangement works commissioned by regional directorates of State Forests.
Soil and habitat works will consist in:
1) the implementation of reference, basic and auxiliary typological habitat surfaces in an amount consistent with the second degree of their density;
2) taking photographic photographs of soil profiles - standard typological habitat surfaces (WTPS) and placing them in the descriptive part (elaborate) of the habitat survey along with a description of the forest address, subtype and variety of soil and the type of forest habitat it represents;
3) carrying out laboratory tests of soils along with the calculation and application of SIG;
4) determination and soil mowing with the type, subtype and variety as well as soil type and species in accordance with the Forest Management Manual (IUL);
5) determination and mating of forest habitat types, taking into account their varieties, moisture variants, types and condition, as well as determining the forest type;
6) preparation of habitat documentation, which will consist of:
- descriptive part (habitat elaborate)
- cartographic materials (habitat maps)
- detailed inventory data (full descriptions of habitat typological areas);
7) making in tabular form proposals for optimal species compositions of crops, taking into account the forest habitat type and forest natural habitat.
Description of materials regarding the soil and habitat development, which the Contractor shall provide to the Employer (in accordance with §10 - 12 part II, IUL):
1) Database materials:
- preparation of the geometrical base of habitats in accordance with the LMN standard based on the existing LMN
2) Descriptive materials:
- a dissertation containing, among others characteristics of the site's natural conditions, soil characteristics and forest habitat types, as well as guidelines for breeding and management planning as well as soil profile photos at WTPS
- source documentation containing descriptions of all reference and basic surfaces (formula 1a-c IUL Part II) together with the list of soil physical and chemical properties (formula 1d IUL Part II)
In one volume in two copies, one for RDSF and forest inspectorates, bound in rigid binding.
3) Cartographic materials in analogue version:
- economic maps of forest habitats in A1 format, on a scale of 1: 5000
- economic maps of forest habitats in a scale of 1: 5000 in A3 format,
- economic and review maps of forest habitats in the scale of 1: 10,000
- overview maps of the range of forest habitats in the scale 1:20 000
- Habitat elaborate and habitat layer in the LMN standard
- The second degree of typological density of habitat surfaces should be used.
