The proposed contract is to provide a new greenway to link existing elements of a trail joining Carlingford in the Republic of Ireland to Newry in Northern Ireland at Carlingford Lough - Carlingford Town - Victoria Lock Amenity Site, Newry for Louth County Council. The new stretch will terminate at a location that will connect to the Newry Towpath, part of National Cycle Route 9 resulting in a total length of 52km of cross border Greenway along the East coast of the island of Ireland.
