The course "Societal orientation" (MO) aims to provide people integrating with strategies to function independently in Flemish and Belgian society in a socially responsible manner and according to their own competences and ambitions. On the one hand, they are provided with knowledge about rights and obligations, society and its basic values. On the other hand, an impetus is given to the development of some competencies that are necessary for their self-reliance.

Through this assignment we want to develop a digital test with which the theoretical knowledge of people integrating can be tested in an objective, standardized manner after the Social Orientation course. The test takes into account the diversity within the target group (eg language, education level). We also expect the contractor to actively participate in the anchoring steering group, where the Flanders-wide implementation of the MO test is being prepared.
