The purpose of this tender is to contract the surveillance service of the City of Culture of Galicia, which includes a maximum annual workload of 53,720 hours.

1. Minimal surveillance service

This service corresponds to the daily surveillance tasks carried out inside buildings and in the outdoor spaces of the City of Culture of Galicia. It is a service organized in six guard posts with different work shifts, adapted to the current daily activity of the complex. The average annual workload for this chapter is 40,880 hours/year.

The planned minimum surveillance service will allow the following services to be carried out:

- Attention of the 24-hour control center of the Cidade da Cultura

- Continuous monitoring of building security and surveillance systems

- Surveillance rounds outside the buildings and green spaces of the complex.

- Opening and closing of buildings at the times established by the Fundación Cidade da Cultura de Galicia.

- Preventive resources for evacuation and alarm in buildings during their periods of activity.

2. Minimum Service Extension Service

The structure of the service described in the previous section is of a minimum nature. The Foundation is responsible for activities that take place over long periods and that require the incorporation of security guards to ensure safety, such as the temporary exhibitions held at the Gaiás Museum, or long-term temporary events such as the mass vaccination campaign that took place in the building CEM between March and September 2021.

For this type of activity, a maximum annual workload of 11,800 hours/year is estimated.

3. Timely reinforcements service of the minimum service

The contract is completed with a one-off reinforcement service that allows the Foundation to comply with any eventuality (institutional events, concerts, festivals, events, unforeseen visits,...). It is estimated that this service requires a maximum of 1,040 hours per year.
