The contracting authority wants tenders for delivery of:

- Hire cars for short periods (day/weekly/monthly prices)

The major requirement is for short term car rental services within Trondheim. Cars can be hired in other locations in Norway during trips. The requirement is divided in the following percentages:

--Trondheim - approx. 80 %.

--Gardermoen - approx. 5 %.

--Other Norwegian cities - approx. 15 %.

The contract does not apply for car pools (hourly hire in different car pool schemes), cf. Doffin ID 2021-376425. The contracting authority currently has a separate contract for a car pool of 15 cars in Midtbyen until 31.01.2023. If the experience from this pilot is positive, the contracting authority would like to enter into a contract for a car pool as a permanent system, and will also look at the possibility of establishing similar car pool systems for several of the contracting authority's areas of activity around Trondheim. This can, therefore lead to a reduction in turnover in the contract for short term car rental services.

The contract does not include leasing.
