The target of the procurement is the school transport services for pre-school and basic education in the municipality of Askola for students who have been granted a transport benefit in accordance with the school transport principles.

The term of the contract is 1.8.2019 - 31.7.2021 + three / 3) year option for the period 1.8.2021-31.7.2024. The agreement may be renewed for three (3) years, one year at a time.

The purchase includes a number of items, which are further specified in the invitation to tender document. The main planning of transportation routes and timetables is done by the municipality and in cooperation with selected transport companies. Transport students There are approximately 350 students in the Askola municipality, of which around 60 are used for charter traffic alone and about 75 for additional transport as needed. The subscriber does not commit to the minimum mileage, and the subscriber reserves the right to purchase the service each year only to the extent necessary.

Transportation of pupils of Askola Primary School and Monninkylä School, covering the areas of Askola Church Village and Monninkylä, about 400 km / day. Two cars for 16-20 people are needed for transportation.

Transportation takes place mainly in the Juornaankylä and Särkijärvi areas. There are about 25 students in Juornaankylä and about 40 in Särkijärvi. Some of them use public transport in the morning. Estimated driving speed is about 150-200 km / day and the optimum size of the car is 16-20 seats.

Transfers from Kantele to the center of Pukkila to the bus station. Estimated driving speed about 20 km / day. The optimum size of the car is 8-12 seats. In addition, one student is transported from Torp to the Askola school and back. Total 30 km / day.

Student transfers to Swedish-speaking schools from Askola's Juornaankylä and Särkijärvi to Porvoo primary and secondary schools. Number of students 1-5.

Transportation of two (2) students + instructor from Askola to Orimattila's Jokivarre School and back.
