The College wishes to tender for the provision of a Leasing Service. The lease agreement will be restricted to IT equipment obtained via a tender process run by Coleg Sir Gâr.

The historical annual spend for Coleg Sir Gâr is approximately 250 000 GBP-270 000 GBP.

An example of the equipment leased is:-

— 400/500 PC's,

— 20/50 Apple Macs,

— Servers,

— Laptops,

— Networking Equipment.

The College is proactively working to encourage sustainable procurement and is committed to ensuring that, wherever possible, sustainability is considered at each stage of the product lifecycle.

As well ensuring that equipment is disposed of legally and in an environmentally sound way, the College wish to support the Welsh Assembly Government's initiative to encourage greater use of Supported Business & Factories for certain services including disposal of IT equipment. However, you should be aware that we are not seeking to ‘Restrict' any part of this contract for Supported Businesses.

The Contract will commence in June 2014 and continue for a period of 5 years. The overall agreement will consist of an annual lease agreement running for a period of either 4 or 5 years.

Please note, this Invitation to Tender only applies to Coleg Sir Gâr.

You should be aware that other Welsh Further Education Institutions may wish to have access to this agreement.
