Nordlandsnett AS plans to develop the security of supply to the island Lovund in Lurøy municipality.

Lovund is an industrial society located at the coast of Helgeland. Lovund has approx. 475 inhabitants. The society is established around the fish farming industry and has activities for several areas which require high service life and increased security. An improvement of the supply security is therefore a priority for Nordlandsnett and will be important for the net owners and the customers on Lovund.

The planned development project includes a new 36 kv radial from Øresvik Transformer Station to Lovund. This new radial includes a submarine cable for 41 km from Kvina to Lovund, which this competition is for.

— Installation — the cable shall be laid between Kvina and Lovund in Lurøy municipality. This includes loading, transport, laying and securing work.
