The aim of the procurement is to enter into a new contract for the delivery of Internet and inter-communication between SSB´s locations in Oslo, Akerveien 26 and Kongsvinger, Otervegen 23. The contract can cover services that are related to this, such as DDOS protection of internet lines, handling domain names and IP addresses etc.

The aim of the procurement is to enter into a new contract for the delivery of Internet and inter-communication between SSB´s locations in Oslo, Akerveien 26 and Kongsvinger, Otervegen 23. This procurement will not cover services for telephony and mobile networks. As a starting point, the procurement will also not cover existing communication/network services with SSB´s external partners. If new connections arise at a later date, or it is practical to move the existing connections with external partners from another supplier, the contract can be extended to include this.

SSB has an rental contract for the building in Kongsvinger that will expire in 2025. It is still not clear whether SSB will remain in Otervegen 23, or move to another building when the time comes. This building can be extended to cover connection to any new location, but SSB will be free to announce a new tender for network services if its does move.
