The Hormone Laboratory, the Department of Medical Biochemistry at Oslo University Hospital shall procure 1 UHPLC-MS/MS system for quantitative analyses of steroid hormones in serum.

The equipment shall be used for analysis of many different steroid hormones in different patient groups. Concentration levels range from very low concentrations (pmol/l range) to low μmol range. The equipment must have very good operational stability, selectivity, sensitivity, precision and linearity. At the same time, the instrument must be robust when analysing different matrices and methods, as well as have a high capacity.

All additional components that are necessary for the analysis equipment to be operative must be included in the procurement. The estimated volume is approx. 420 analysis series (up to 96 positions/24.000 injections/39.000 samples (from statistics) per annum. The tender shall also include an option price for an additional LC-MS/MS system for analysing other hormones.
