A new, urban, mixed-use urban quarter is to be built on the post office site in the heart of Leonberg's old town. The planned construction project requires the predominant demolition of the existing buildings as well as the entire post office building.

The demolition involves the following buildings and the following outdoor facilities (see plan attached to the tender documents):

• Bahnhofstr. 1,

• Bahnhofstr. 5,

• Eltinger footpath 2/1 with transition, without cellar,

• Garage Eltinger Fußweg 2/2,

• Eltinger footpath 4 with garage, without cellar,

• Eltinger Str. 24, incl. paved surfaces (asphalt etc.),

• Eltinger Str. 32,

• Sea road.

The estimated eligible costs are:

- Demolition of the building: approx. € 920,000 net,

- Demolition of traffic areas: approx. € 51,000 net,

- Installed: approx. € 245,000 net,

- Construction fence, tree protection: approx. € 75,000 net.

The preliminarily determined demolition volumes amount to approx. 50,000 m³ BRI. For the shoring to be erected in the course of demolition, a height of approx. 100 m with a view area of 2-5 m can be assumed, i.e. approx. 350-400 m².

Planning is to be started immediately after commissioning. The measures must be settled by September 2024.
