The framework agreement offered concerns advisory assistance to the Traffic Authority in the field of rail safety and rail interoperability, including technical assistance for the management of the Board.

The Traffic Authority is tendering a 4-year framework agreement with an expectantly three suppliers for rail safety advisory assistance, including technical assistance for the board's regulatory treatment. The advisory assistance offered concerns the following subject areas:

1) Tracks, 2) Constructions, 3) Geoengineering, 4) Remote control/fusing/train control, 5) ERTMS (ETCS and GSM-R) (both the infrastructure part and vehicle part), 6) Vehicles, 7) Electrification/running current/strong current infrastructure, 8) Traffic safety rules including SR75, ORF and ORS, 9) Technical safety rules, 10) Interoperability Technical Specifications (TSI), and 11) Risk Assessment/Risk Management/Significance Assessment (CSM-RA).

Orders for the framework agreement will be awarded by direct allocation. The orders will be awarded as a starting point to the main supplier which makes the most economically advantageous offer. The supplier shall ensure that it has the capacity to resolve the tasks under the Framework Agreement and that the advisors offered are habile. However, it is expected that advisers may be inhabile in concrete tasks, just as some capacity problems may occur. If the main contractor is prevented from delivering, the order will be placed with the supplier which has made the second most economically advantageous offer, and so still. The maximum value of the framework agreement is DKK 12 million.
