Assens Rensning A / S offers the construction and construction work in connection with the construction of Nyt Assens Cleansing Plant. The assignment is offered in turnkey competition according to the rules on tendering with negotiation with prior prequalification. The treatment plant's administration building and associated workshop building are offered in a separate contract. (published 12.3.2019).

Assens Municipality's City Council decided on 28 January 2015 that in the long term only one sewage treatment plant in the municipality should be located and that this should be located in the Assens area. Assens Rensning A / S has chosen to meet the wastewater plan by centralizing the total waste water treatment in Assens Municipality in one new large barkark treatment plant. The project is offered according to prequalification in turnkey contract as a tender with negotiation. The client expects one round of negotiations to be completed. (see further in the tender conditions) There is an expected total budget for this part of the task of DKK 250,000,000 excl. VAT. Construction of the administration and workshop building for the treatment plant is offered in a separate turnkey contract published on 12.3.2019.

It is not the expectation that the administration building and the workshop building can be built without the simultaneous construction of the treatment plant and vice versa. As a result of the contractual interdependence, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to cancel both contracts, provided that no contract can be signed for one of the contracts, for example as a result of budgetary conditions.
