Name: NIH Restoration, tenders for an engineering procurement and construction contract: K204 Energy storages.

Statsbygg has been given the assignment, from Kunnskapsdepartementet (The Ministry of Education and Research) to implement detailed engineering design and restoration of approx. 16 650 m2 at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences located at Sogn in Oslo. An addition with an area of approx. 800 m2 shall also be constructed.

A large part of the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences' total area is not included in the restoration.

An energy storage park shall be established for the delivery of heating energy to heating pumps.

This invitation to tender/contract concerns engineering design, drilling, constructing and establishing of the above mentioned energy storage park — contract K204.

The heating pumps are not included in the current competition.

The Norwegian School of Sport Sciences will be in full operation during the construction works. The works must be organised in such a manner that access for students and employees is secured in safe way. Tenderers must take this into account when pricing these inconveniences into the tender offer. The tenderer must also take into account and price their tender offer so that the energy storage park includes conduit paths/ditches shall partially be located inside the construction site's barracks area, where construction works will take place delivered by other contractors. The contractors must coordinate their works on the construction site in consultation with the user (NIH), The Directorate of Public Construction and Property and other contractors.

Note: Furthermore, large parts of the works will take place on the outside of the construction fence for the construction project, where there is much public through traffic. Therefore, the tender offer must price HSE measures for the safety of passers by and the general public against accidents and injuries.

The works must continuously be protected against unauthorised access to the areas where the contractor works at any given time are occurring, by fencing in those areas (minimum standard construction site fencing) and they must be well labelled/signposted.

The execution of the designing and construction works shall take place from 1.6.2016 to 1.12.2016.

It is a requirement that works in the areas that lie outside of the construction site fence for the main construction project (i.e. the open space marked green on the attached location map), shall be completed including setback of the areas (green areas) at the latest by 1.11.2016.

The commissioning period is 12 months, from 1.12.2016-1.12.2017.

The energy wells shall be drilled in the red shaded area on the location map, and the collection pipe shall be delivered and mounted in accordance with performances in the current tender documentation including main pipe to the furnace wall, located as shown on the attached location map in building 10 (by the swimming hall).
