Ålesundregionens Havnevesen (ÅRH) shall enter into a framework agreement with one tenderer for the transport

and management of waste that cannot be treated with regular ship waste due to

chemical, physical and/or biological qualities.

The objective of the tender contest is to enter into a contract that shall safeguard and manage the waste system

that is imposed the port authority in accordance with the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) 73/78,

and Directive 2000/59/EFC, amended in the directive 2002/84/EF regarding reception systems for waste

and load remains from ships (henceforth referred to as Forskriftene).

The Ålesund Regional Port Authority will enter into a framework agreement with a tenderer for the transport and treatment of liquid waste that cannot be handled together with other normal ship waste due to its chemical, physical and/or biological properties.
