VGV procedure for the award of structural analysis services.

The city of Coesfeld intends to renovate, modernize and partially convert and possibly expand the school center on Holtwicker Straße in the period 2019-2025. The school center is currently used by Theodor-Heuss-Realschule and the Nepomucenum high school. In the school year 2017/2018

Visit approx. 1,400 students at these two schools. The entire complex covers approximately 32,800 m 2nd Gross floor area and consists of the following structures:

- Old building, junior high school, built in 1955;

- Extension, junior high school, built in 1965;

- New building, junior high school and high school, built in 1977;

- Toilet building at Schulhof Gymnasium, built in 1977;

- 2 x triple sports hall, built in 1977

The building complex from 1977 was designed by the architects Möller, Rupprath, Wiesmann from Greven and is a listed building. This also applies to the adjacent outdoor facilities.

Due to the age of the building, there is now a fundamental need for renovation and modernization. According to the council decision based on the preliminary planning of July 11, 2019, the building parts 1977 (components 1-4), the former toilet building (component 7), a new building for a cafeteria and a new school building as an extension of the secondary school are to be worked on as a project object.

The sports hall (components 8 + 9) and the building parts 1955/65 (component 0) are not modernized and are not part of the project.
