Description:
Terrazzoarbeiten HS

The Laeiszhalle was donated by the shipping couple Carl and Sophie Laeisz and executed by the architects M. Haller and W.E. Meerwein 1904 - 1908 in the neo-Baroque style. According to the turn of the century, clinker brickwork with rich sandstone ornaments was chosen for the external design elements. In addition, richly decorated, wrought-iron railings with botanical motifs and slate-roofed mansard roofs, studded with driven copper sheet sculptures, adorn the façade. As the largest and at that time most modern concert hall in Germany, the Musikhalle is today the most important building for classical music performances in Hamburg, next to the Elbphilarmonie. In 2022/2023, the client plans to carry out structural measures in the Laeiszhalle to ensure the smooth, safe operation of the building for the future.

All work outside the annual season break can only be carried out in close coordination with the construction management or the management of the Laeiszhalle / client, as rehearsals or events can take place all day. Binding time windows can be set with a lead time of up to 2 weeks, so that the Contractor can plan firmly with these time windows.
