All necessary applications are made available in a simple / clear way. The current on-premise environments will be phased out and replaced by a modern ICT environment, including an external data center. The ICT environment is well managed so that it is always up-to-date, secure and has maximum uptime. This must also be facilitated by a completely new local workplace (workplace 3.0). Where a virtual environment is temporarily necessary, it must be delivered and managed.

The entire pallet must be operational by 1 June 2024. If there is a time shortage, there is an option to split: phase 1 (parts 1 to 6) before 1 May 2024 and phase 2 (parts 7 to 9) afterwards.

The municipality of Best wants to offer excellent service to its residents and relations. To achieve this, it is necessary that the employees have access to a mo-derne, "state of the art" ICT environment. All necessary applications are made available in a simple / clear way. The current on-premise environments will be phased out and replaced by a modern ICT environment, including an ex-external data center. The ICT environment is well managed so that it is always up-to-date, secure and has maximum uptime. This must also be facilitated by a completely new local workplace (workplace 3.0). Where a virtual environment should temporarily be necessary, it must be delivered and managed.

The assignment roughly consists of the following parts:

1. Providing Managed Services, actually taking over and maintaining the current ICT environment (managing the entire ICT environment).

2. Migrating the on-premise data centers to a data center of the Contractor or in the Cloud.

3. Hosting of the remaining on-premise applications.

4. On-site service desk.

5. Technisch applicatiebeheer

6. Advice and thinking along in the field of innovation and modern techniques.

From there, in line with the strategy document mentioned in section 1.1, the Contractor and the Client will start the transformation to the digital workplace. In that transformation, the following components are added to the command:

7. Providing (technical) support on and setting up the Microsoft365 environment and projects in which various components (Office, network storage) migrate to the Microsoft Cloud.

8. Delivering, maintaining and further developing and implementing in the organization (including adoption) a standard solution for the future digital workplace with the ultimate goal of eliminating the VDI environment.

9. Managing access to all SaaS applications (think of certificates, VPN connections, etc...)
