The department will retain ownership of the DOE NI Planning Portal (NIPP) until 31.3.2019. To ensure there is sufficient transition period to allow the new councils to develop a requirements specification and undertake the associated procurement for a replacement system (if required), the department has awarded the maintenance and support contract to the incumbent supplier.
