The Norwegian Government has decided to celebrate locally, nationally and internationally that in 2013 it has been 100 years since the suffrage enactment was unanimously accepted by the Norwegian Parliament. In connection with this the government has assigned a committee which will be responsible for suggestion and implementation of the celebration of the suffrage anniversary.
The committee shall be managed by the county administrator of Buskerud; Kirsti Kolle Grøndahl. The secretariat is assigned to the Ministry of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority.
One of the initiatives is to publish a one volume history book describing the Norwegian equality history, approx. 1850-2013. On behalf of the suffrage committee, the Awarding Authority hereby invites to a tender contest regarding production of the one-bind volume.
