The Fritz Ulrich School, a 3-speed community school with about 450 students, is extended for all-day operation, barrier-free expanded and renovated.
The school consists of two 1,85 m height-offset building bricks from the year 1965, which are connected by three staircases in split-level construction and another in 2008, built, single-storey, elevated structure with connection via 2 bridges.
As an extension, the inner courtyards between the staircases are roofed over and used as areas for all-day operation (refectory / theater workshop).
The building bars will be accessible through new galleries in the atria and a new elevator system.
The measure includes the constructive and safety-related fire protection renovation. The construction work will be carried out in three phases during ongoing operation from summer 2020 to 2020.
