The Netherlands Space Office (NSO) challenges entrepreneurs to develop new services and/or products based on, among other things, satellite data for the provision of information for biodiversity. This call focuses on the sub-theme 'nature'.
Satellite data offer new possibilities for monitoring biodiversity. Where the SBIR often presents a defined issue to the market from a specific government party, this SBIR is broader in scope: we ask market parties to identify an issue within the theme of biodiversity itself with one or more (semi-) public organizations as problem holders for which they want to develop the solution.
