Vetland school is a special school that is co-located with Oppsal primary school. Address: Vetlandsveien 79.

The expansion includes a new detached building situated at the existing school site between the administration building and the sports hall.

The scope of the project is set in considerations of the user groups of the building, comprising the following:

— 12 student places for students born with deaf-blindness;

— 8 student places for student with multiple disabilities;

— 24 employees.

Demolition: The existing operational building must be demolished for site preparations.

The new building: Approx 2 500 m2 divided between 2 floors plus a basement. The building shall be connected to the current district heating system and shall as a minimum comply with the passive house requirements. Stringent demands are made in relation to acoustics, tactility, user equipment and lighting.

Outdoor works: A complete drainage system, the preparation of parking areas and access, as well as outdoor areas for the users.
