Engineering services and professional advice
Between 2024 and 2028, the city of Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe intends to have approx. 260 km of the sewer network inspected by TV inspection with the aim of meeting the requirements of the EKVO and rehabilitating damaged sewers. The preparation, tendering and monitoring of the TV inspection as well as the subsequent evaluation, condition classification and conceptual renovation planning are to be awarded to an efficient engineering office.
Every year, approx. 50 km of canals and their shafts will be examined. The inspection service must be put out to tender once for the entire scope and the award must be accompanied. The shaft and pipe inspection is to be prepared, coordinated and accompanied by the engineering office. The processing takes place in inspection orders, each of which is approx. 5 to 10 km in size. The inspection results are to be subjected to quality assurance by the engineering office. A condition classification according to DWA M149-3 must be carried out. Finally, remediation concepts are to be drawn up in each area. Close coordination between contractor and client is planned. Specifications regarding workflows and data formats must be observed. For data management and import into the systems, the client appoints a third party, with whom the commissioned engineering office must also coordinate.
