The section of the A 3 is an important connection between the Ruhr and Rhineland conurbations. The A3 is a busy north-south axis and is part of the trans-European network (TEN) from Cologne to Frankfurt. Due to the enormous traffic importance of the A 3 as a transit route, it is necessary to permanently renew the entire superstructure. The approximately 1.53 km long section of the route is used by an average of 120,000 vehicles/24 hours, including 10.4% trucks.

The overall planning of the southern and northern sections, as well as the separateD AS Solingen, envisages expanding the section of the A 3 between the HILDEn and the Leverkusen-Opladen AS. The southern section has already been completed, the northern section is currently under construction.

The subject of the present tender is the construction management and the construction supervision for the 3rd construction phase - AS Solingen from station 116+210 to 117+740.

The overall construction project includes the fundamental rehabilitation of the roadway of the A 3, the route drainage (partial renewal and partial renovation in the inliner process) and the complete equipment. In this context, the ramps of the junction will also be renovated.

The Contractor shall take over the

- Baubetriebliche Nachtragsbearbeitung

- SiGe coordination

for all services arising from the aforementioned construction contracts (including all lots) and ensures their contractual construction.
