The Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation/the Division for Supplying/the Operational procurement department (FLO/DIV/FORS/DAA) intends to enter into a contract for a five year certification, middle certification and corrective maintenance/repairs of three vessels of the Nordkapp class, KV Harstad and KV Svalbard. The contract period is maximum 4 years (2+1+1 years). It is set aside 4 weeks per vessel in connection with the certification of the Nordkapp class and the KV Svalbard For KV Harstad 3 weeks of certification are set aside. The vessels are certified in Det Norske Veritas' certification system.

KV Svalbard is the largest vessel in the contract and will be governing as regards facilities and requirements to the tenderer.
