The project concerns the rehabilitation in 3 stages of a historic building dating back to the end of the 19th century. e century. Today neglected, this built heritage consists of 3 buildings having undergone many alterations by successive interventions and by time.

The city of Gueugnon wishes to give life gradually to this set located place des Forges at the entrance of the city center, by establishing a cultural, scientific, educational and social complex comprising 3 facilities around a common lobby:

- the municipal media library,

- a digital third party,

- a Center for Scientific and Technical Interpretation around Stainless Steel (CISTI).

The useful surface of the project is estimated at 2,021 m 2 .

The part of the projected financial envelope allocated to the works is estimated at EUR 4,075,000 excluding tax. (July 2019 value) all segments combined. This amount does not include special foundations or furniture and computer equipment.

The project management mission includes:

- the basic mission (MOP law)

- complementary missions: REL, DIAG, OPC, CSSI.
