The city of Warendorf plans to carry out the third phase of construction of the north city street. Road construction takes place in a length of about 1.5 km. A traffic system planning is required for this.

In 1996 the city of Warendorf commissioned the engineering planning office with the planning of a northern city street as a collecting street, which was to take over all source and destination traffic in the north of Warendorfer, with the aim of relieving the north of Warendorf from road traffic.

The project was secured in terms of planning law by drawing up development plan no. 1.58 "Nördliche Stadtstraße". Furthermore, as part of the plan's justification in 1997, a landscape maintenance plan was drawn up by the engineering planning office.

The first two construction phases of the Northern Street have already been completed by the city of Warendorf. The first construction phase connects via a roundabout in the east of the city of Warendorf to the federal road 475 and the state road 830 / "Sassenberger Straße". The second construction phase connects in the west of the city of Warendorf via a roundabout with the state road 830 / "Milter Straße" at.

The planned third construction phase represents the final construction phase in the realization of the planned northern city street in the north of the city of Warendorf. The third construction phase serves to fill the gap and connects the already built sections in the connection area Landesstraße 830 / "Milter Straße" with the connection.
