Assignment of an experienced company for the complete and independent review of technical designs and documents regarding the TenneT offshore converter platforms.

Details concerning kind and scope of the documents to be reviewed will be specified within the ITT documents.

With this notice the customer design and document review for TenneT's Offshore HVDC projects is announced. This service is required in order to get an objective review of the quality of the submitted documentation from the EPC contractor.

Due to its complexity of TenneT's Offshore-HVDC-Projects, the scope of work of this assignment is divided into three areas (‘Technical Equipment’, ‘Electrical Equipment’ and ‘Offshore Platform / Steel Structure’) and in the following phases:

— design / planning phase,

— construction phase including all related, technical assets, to be installed

— shipping phase of the platform to its final location in the North Sea,

— installation phase of the platform at its destination,

— commissioning phase and,

— phase of the final acceptance test by the general contractor.

Within the scope of the design and document review, additional project management and support activities will incur.

A project manager on the contractor's side has to coordinate all necessary services of the contractor and be available as a main contact person for the client and for a representative of the contractor.

Throughout the whole period of the service particular attention shall be paid to all relevant technical requirements as well as requirements resulting from project-specific rules, legal and statutory standards; in particular compliance with the relevant regulations in Germany (national legal basis, e.g. BSH; Eurocodes and maritime standards such as DNV-Standards) as well as securing the technical contractual basis. In addition, the scope of work includes the guidance through the technical approval procedures with the responsible authorities, as well as conducting meetings at the client's headquarters or, if necessary, at the location of the contractor, responsible for creating the design documentation. Details will be specified through the ITT documents and within the contract negotiations.
