In the course of the renovation of the "Alte Post" in Leuna, an approx. 450 m² terrace deck will be built over several existing garages. The landscaping work builds on the roof waterproofing that has already been installed. The bare ceiling of the terrace is approx. 4.10 m above street level and the parapet already erected by the building construction approx. 5.30 m above street level. The deck can be reached via a staircase or two entrances via bridges from the existing building. The parapet already installed by the building construction serves as fall protection.

The roof terrace will be designed as a retention roof with extensive and intensive green roofs on a zero-slope roof. The drainage pipe and the roof drain will also be installed by the building construction.

Paths made of slab flooring and small recreation areas made of natural stone flooring are created, which are bordered by the raised beds and equipped with furniture. In addition to the bed borders made of aluminum sheet, gutters and gravel strips also serve as edging elements. Within the extensive greening, tread slabs are laid. The intensive greening is planted with perennials, shrubs and shrubs.
