In accordance with the public procurement regulations, the awarding authority invites companies to an open competition above the EEA threshold, with the aim of entering into parallel framework agreements for the delivery of workwear, protective equipment and fabric products. The extent of the contract is for a large part classified as high risk products based on documentation on critisied work conditions and constant breaches of the ILO's core conventions in manufacturing in low wage countries. An important sub aim of this contract is to procure products that are manufactured legally and in accordance with the ILO's core conventions.

In order to ensure that the need is always covered, the awarding authority will enter into parallel framework agreements. The contracts can cover all or parts of the product area, but tenderers must at a minimum be able to deliver at least one category. Tenders can therefore be given for all product categories, or for only one or several of them.

Production categories:

1. Workwear for tradesmen, workshop, park, agriculture and cowsheds. Tenders must include clothing for both indoor and outdoor use, as well as summer and winter

2. Workwear for chemical laboraotry personnel, pilot plants within dairy etc.

3. Workwear for hospital personnel and surgical personnel

4. Workwear for cleaners

5. Work shoes/boots for summer and winter use including protective protective shoes/boots

6. Visiting overcoats and shoe covers for disposable use

7. Personnel protective equipment

8. Bedclothes and towels, cloths and curtains.
