The mechanical part of the measuring device, the measurement bench, will scan instruments through the magnetic field of the MAX IV undulators. A magnetic field sensor is moved on a guide with a travel path of 5 500 mm (Z-axis) so that the field of an undulator set-up parallel to it can be measured.
