Alva Companies Oy is the driver of the water remote lecture competition project, which seeks vendors/suppliers for installation, inspection and storage services related to mass exchanges of remotely legible water meters, together with four (4) water utilities (subscribers). In addition to Alva, the included water plants are: Lappeenranta Energinetkot Oy, Pori's water business facility and Turun Veshuolto Oy.
As a procurement procedure, a transparent procedure in specific areas is used in competition. The acquisition concludes a framework agreement on a subdivision basis with one to three (1 to 3) suppliers.
The acquisition will include approximately 60,000 installed remotely legible water meter. The following services are subject to competition:
— Installation and inspection service
— Storage service.
Remotely legible water meters are divided into battery-operated and mains connected meters.
Of the remotely legible water meters included in the competition, the majority are size DN15 to DN40.
Meter installation areas are located in agglomeration or scattered areas in geographically established operating areas of different water utilities. Installations take place in the form of so-called mass exchanges, which is hoped to be taken into account by bidders when making the offer.
Offers may apply to all parts or only one (1) part.
