Description:
Expansion of the system for collecting and making digital content widely available about monuments, graves and war cemeteries in the field of software

The subject of the contract is the extension of the current system for collecting and making digital content widely available about monuments and war graves and cemeteries with new functionalities of existing solutions, as well as the production of completely new components.

As part of the contract, the Contractor will have to perform the following tasks:

1. Development of rules for the organization of project implementation;

2. Conducting solution analysis;

3. System development in accordance with the requirements;

4. Carrying out system tests;

5. System implementation;

6. Providing post-implementation documentation;

7. Conducting training;

8. Provision of post-implementation assistance services;

9. Provision of warranty services.

A detailed description of the subject of the contract is included in Annex 1 to the ToR - Description of the subject of the contract.

1. The National Heritage Board of Poland (hereinafter the NID) is implementing a project entitled: Digitization and access to digital cultural goods - monuments, war graves and cemeteries (project number: POPC.02.03.02-00-0017 / 18), for which the NID has obtained funding from the European Regional Development Fund under the Measure: 2.3 Digital availability and usability of public sector information, Sub-measure: 2.3.2 Digital access to cultural resources of the Digital Poland Operational Program 2014-2020. The project is implemented in the period from January 2019 to January 2022.

The main goal of the project is to digitize collections of historic buildings as well as war graves and cemeteries in Poland, constituting the country's cultural heritage, and to build an integrated system for their collection and making available to a wide recipient via the portal for further exploitation and reuse in a user-friendly way. The project will increase knowledge about monuments and war graves and cemeteries in Poland, as well as improve their protection.

The main goal is implemented through specific objectives:

1. Specific objective 1: Increasing the quality and safety of data sets about monuments, war graves and cemeteries in Poland.

2. Specific objective 2: Improving the accessibility of collections collected by the National Heritage Board of Poland and Voivodship Offices and their extensive use for cultural, scientific, historical or educational, administrative and economic purposes as well as in foreign policy.

3. Specific objective 3: Increasing the quality of promotional and dissemination activities in relation to resources related to monuments and war graves and cemeteries in Poland among interested persons and entities.

The objectives will be achieved through the implementation of the tasks:

1. Task 1: Digitization of resources and extension of the domain database of monuments, cemeteries and war graves;

2. Task 2: Developing a system for collecting and making digital content widely available about monuments, graves and war cemeteries;

3. Task 3: Information and promotion of project products;

4. Task 4: Project management.
