New construction of the Alfred Delp School (ADS), demolition of the inventory on the construction field and subsequent demolition of the ADS.
Performances of the structural design according to §§ 49 ff. HOAI 2013, Lph. 1-6, gradual retrieval, first performance phases 1 and 2.
The "Campus Biedensand" is located on the western outskirts of the city of Lampertheim on the property, with a total site area of approximately 84 340 m
The subject of this notice is the Alfred Delp School (ADS) consisting of:
- School wing including administration,
- Natural Science Center (NTZ) / Specialist classes,
- Gym,
- Mensa (shared use with the Biedensand School).
The new construction of the Alfred Delp School includes a gross floor area (A) of approx. 7,600 m
The campus grounds are directly adjacent to the recreational area "Altrhein." The development of the master plan and over-planning of the grounds of the ADS and the Lessinggymnasium (LGL) is entrusted to the office Opus Architekten BDA from Darmstadt As a result of the master plan, it was decided that the aforementioned objects of the Alfred Delp School will be dismantled for economic, spatial, functional and urban planning reasons.
The complex interplay of the planned demolition and new construction measures on the campus site, which is characterized by a rotation of the locations, takes place across schools. The refectories of both schools (ADS + LGL) are maintained. For the dismantling of the school building of the ADS and the NTZ pollutant investigations are planned to develop a demolition concept. The sports hall of the ADS remains according to the current state of planning. The new building concept will be prepared on the basis of the preliminary studies of the architect (master plan) and on the basis of a room-function book (approved requirements) developed jointly with the users and will be worked through first until the submission of the building application. To minimize the energy requirement, the requirements should be displayed in a compact, possibly multi-storey construction.
In the first step, it is planned to introduce an energy consultant to the forthcoming project, which will develop an energy concept to supply the 4 campus schools (ADS, BSS, ESS and LGL incl. Sports halls and refectories) taking into account the local conditions, the premises of economic efficiency, sustainability and innovation , Added to this is the topic of digitization, as well as the growing demand for security and alerting in dangerous situations. In addition, the requirements for accessibility and inclusion must be taken into account.
The structural implementation of the measure starts with the relocation of the school to the former Lessinggymnasium, the demolition of the Natural Science Center and the construction of the ADS on the construction site in the ongoing school operation. The beginning of the demolition of the stock on the construction site of the ADS depends on the timing of the preliminary projects (demolition and new construction LGL / ARH) and is planned according to the current state of planning from about 2025. The execution should be done in one phase. Noise-intensive work should be carried out at best during off-hours.
It is due to the processes described in the provision of services from a discontinuous processing start, possibly with interruptions, depending on the still to be developed construction process in detail.
