Gauge 1435 mm.

Design for the wheel tire tread according to drawing S-M/MVB.01/2007 and S-M/MVB.02/2007.

Groove width according to the 2018 transverse dimension table of the MVB, the values for r = 8 apply, simple centerpiece, deep groove. In areas where the track is guided by the back of the wheel, the values for deep-groove wheel control arms apply.

The rail extension consists of a right and left extension halves (left and right in the sense of the direction of travel).

The total height of the structure is a maximum of 180 mm. The construction must fit into the available space behind the abutments. It is necessary to take into account the fact that when installed, the rail extension rests on a 4 cm thick elastic undercast. The rail extension is partly in the curve, r = 448.45 m. The rail extension must be designed in such a way that it is used bluntly during normal operation. The total length is approx. 4070 mm, for the rail extension construction a maximum of 2689 mm is available between the roadway transition construction and the landside end of the construction.

The extension length shall be +/-100 mm. The movement takes place exclusively on the superstructure. No lane change must occur as a result of the movement. The rail extension

- must be designed for installation in a road surface regularly used by road vehicles,

- should be designed in such a way that the wear parts (rails and fasteners) and cables can be replaced without breaking the

road carriageway is possible,

- must comply with the load model 1 according to EC 1,

- must allow connection to the existing drainage system without rebuilding the bridge,

- must be designed in such a way as to prevent the moving parts from lifting,

- must be designed in such a way that the overflow from tongue to jaw rail is noise-free,

- must be equipped with suitable anti-migration protection to limit the expansion paths and to absorb the longitudinal forces,

- must be designed in such a way that the track gauge is permanently guaranteed even without anchoring to the ground. Within the rail extension design, cable cross-sections Cu 1*4*120 mm² are available for current feedback per rail

On the land side, the connection to the existing RI60N rails must be made possible. For this purpose, the rail extension must have the complete rail profile 60R2 in sufficient length for welding.

The fasteners are part of the delivery. The bores of the new rail pull-outs must be at a sufficient distance from the bores of the previously installed rail pull-outs. The handover to the AG takes place unloaded on the premises of MVB at Kroatenwuhne 4, 39116 Magdeburg.
