The assignment 'Competence checks in Flemish companies' concerns the provision of services
and advice to organizations in Flanders with regard to focusing on more forward-looking
competency thinking and competence development. By focusing on competency management as a
living practice in the workplace can move towards more strategic competency thinking and more
competence development, such as training and workplace learning, before employees are evolved.
For example, an acceleration can be achieved in lifelong learning and more Flemings can be achieved through training,
retraining and (re) orientation are strengthened in their careers. This allows organizations to
count on more competent employees who can perform their job better and this also
further focused on professionalization and sustainability. In this way, employees stay longer and
to work with more enthusiasm.
The assignment provides for the provision of services and advice to at least 500 organizations in
Flanders, this for all plots together. There is a minimum range of different plots
provided for 130 companies for lots 1, 2 and 4 and 55 for lots 3 and 5 (explanation
plots: see below). These can include companies from the profit, social profit sector as well as certain
local authorities, this in terms of childcare, elderly care and home care. The offer is
mainly aimed at small businesses. These are companies up to 50 employees.
To determine whether a company is a small business, the European definition of an SME is
(see also annex 'European definition SME ').
The assignment has a start from the date stated at the closure, presumably 1 October 2022 and
runs until December 31, 2024.
The maximum budget for this entire assignment is 9,901,275 euros.
