The city of Ochtrup intends to provide planning services for technical equipment for the restructuring and expansion of the school center in Ochtrup.
The school center in Ochtrup houses a grammar school and a secondary school (from the 1970s), as well as a secondary school from 1982. In addition to the three schools, the school center includes a double and a triple sports hall as well as an outdoor sports area (shared use by clubs).
Several factors (grammar school: transition from G8 to G9; secondary school: school of joint learning with a significantly increasing number of students with special educational needs)
now require restructuring and expansion. The school center should also become a modern and future-oriented school ensemble from a pedagogical point of view. All three types of school should meet today's educational requirements.
For opinion formation in the political space, the requirements (phase 0) were determined in advance and the basic feasibility was checked.
The development concept of the school center in Ochtrup envisages the following measures:
- 1st BA: Modernization of secondary school with little intervention in the existing building,
- 1st BA: Restructuring and extension secondary school,
- 1st BA: Restructuring and extension of grammar school,
- 1st BA: New sports hall,
- 2nd BA: New building “Common Center”.
The completion (commissioning) of the 1st construction phase is currently scheduled for the start of the school year 2025/2026.
The measure of the 2nd construction phase is optionally included in the scope of services. Implementation depends, among other things, on school developments, further political decisions and budget resources.
The order includes freelance planning services.
The following services are to be awarded:
- technical equipment (service phases 1 - 9 according to HOAI § 55 in conjunction with appendix 15, plant groups 1 - 8);
The required services are based on the HOAI service profiles. The client reserves the right to contract in stages and, if necessary, in sections.
