The NI Ambulance Service currently use the Police Service Northern Ireland’s (PSNI) Barracuda system (Digital Trunk Radio) for secure voice communications between ambulance control and crews. The NI Ambulance Service needs to purchase replacement Motorola radios and equipment which is the sole licenced operator of that network.
