The city of Kalajoki is a developing city with 12,400 inhabitants in Northern Ostrobothnia. In Kalajoki, zoning and land use planning are active. The diverse planning tasks mainly focus on the expansion areas of the urban structure in the city centre, himanga agglomeration, the Hiekkasärkki tourist area and the Kalajoki harbour. Some of the zoning tasks are carried out as the City's own work, and the preparation of wind power plans is the responsibility of the planners selected by the operators, but a significant part of the more demanding zoning projects are to be entrusted to framework contract consultants. The client reserves the right to put out to tender smaller and conventional planning projects and studies outside the framework agreement.
