The State Office for Immigration and Refugees Schleswig-Holstein (LaZuF) operates. in 24768 Rendsburg Pastor-Bielfeldt-Straße 1-10 a state accommodation (LUK). As a rule, the accommodation should accommodate up to 600 residents. Optionally, the property can be occupied by up to 1,200 people for short periods in the event of capacity bottlenecks. The LaZuF will be represented locally as the competent immigration authority and contractual partner.

Residents should be advised and looked after by a care association or company. Your food is ensured via catering. A security service is on site around the clock.

A medical service (AED, corresponds to a general medical practice) is established. A police station is also already set up, which is staffed during the day from Monday to Friday.

The orientation of the LaZuF as operator of the LUK to the model of the Schleswig-Holstein immigration administration must be conceptually lived and supported by the service provider. It serves to anchor a welcoming culture, to carry out high-quality asylum procedures, to prepare for integration effectively and to achieve the goals of integrated return management.

When designing accommodation, advice and care, the particular need for protection of children and other vulnerable groups of people must be taken into account. Appropriate measures for implementation have to be developed and implemented.
