The Multimar Wattforum is building an otter house with

connected outdoor enclosure In the Otterhaus, two

aquariums open to the outside (one for the otter, one

for fish). The building has a

outdoor enclosure in which a stream is arranged

that leads to the otter basin.

Both pools as well as the stream should have a

matching design of colored and

modeled shotcrete with the integration of stones

various sizes, artificial roots, and branches

based on the surrounding marching landscape

(clothes, willows, wooden stakes).

The basins are intended to be a North German sea or

be modeled on the riverbank.

A stream and two aquarium decorations with a shotcrete surface have to be produced. The stream has a floor area of approx. 135 m², the otter basin 100 m² and the fish tank 50 m². The pool height is about 2 m. The fish tank has a concrete bridge 4 x 0.75 m. In addition, an artificial tree of concrete is to be created, which visually extends from one pool to the other. In addition, numerous boulders of different sizes up to 75 cm in diameter can be installed. 8 niches for planting baskets are to be formed.
