The architect composes a design team where he / she is assisted by:

- the stability engineer,

- the engineer techniques,

- the safety coordinator,

- the energy performance reporter.

The duties of the design team and the modalities of the service are laid down in a fee agreement, contract builder - design team in accordance with part II.1 of these special specifications.

The tenderer undertakes to use proposed team members effectively. If the composition of the team changes, the provisions of the agreement continue to apply and prior approval from the client is required.

The design team is represented by the architect. Thereby:

- act as coordinator between the different members of the design team; he ensures that all obligations of the design team are carried out under his supervision and ensures that all parties invoked by the design team are obliged to do so,

- he acts as an intermediary between the client and the various members of the design team (correspondence, handling of modalities, and others).

In the event of a temporary association of architects, every participant of the temporary association is jointly responsible with regard to the board. The tenderer or the temporary association of tenderers is also responsible for anyone who subcontracts.

The architect is responsible for the completeness of the composition of the team within the applicable legal provisions. If necessary, the design team can be expanded after motivated advice from the architect. The final choice to expand the team is made by the client in consultation with VMSW. The architect ensures that each partner of the construction team realizes that this assignment is part of a broader project of the design team.
